TIM BYRNES has been in New York City since 1998. He studied music at New York University and has since been a part of countless music groups and projects, on multiple instruments, spanning every imaginable genre, in addition to touring all over the United States and Europe. He has spent the past few years closer to home, focusing on his passion for teaching and Christian ministry.
TANZANIA HUGHIE was born and raised in the south Bronx, New York. Her roots in this culturally rich environment helped develop her love for the Arts. As a youth she participated in talent shows, pageants, and hip hop performances. At the age of 13 she began teaching lyrical and hip-hop dance styles in after school programs. She received Presidential scholarships, awards, and accolades for her service to the youth of Bronx based communities. Tanzania studied Fashion and Design at Virginia Commonwealth University. She has a degree in Film and Television Acting from The New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts. She has continued to share her talents and gifts with the youth of the Metro New York Area, teaching performing arts at the Boys & Girls Clubs, I.S 62, Grace Harrigan Dance School and Dream Productions. Tanzania has been featured on the Dr. Oz Show, The Hungry Games, Law & Order SVU, and Duchess Discoveries with the Duchess of York. Her acting career is blossoming as she has just shot a pilot for Atlas Media corp.
STEPHANIE KIRKMAN, originally from Iowa, is a graduate of St. Olaf College in Minnesota with a B.A. in Music. Following college, Steph spent a few years traveling and singing with an organization called Youth Encounter in Peru, Bolivia, Malaysia, China and the U.S. In Fort Myers, Florida, Steph taught elementary school music before heading for her next adventure in New York City. She's a guitar‐strumming singer/songwriter and teaches at Diller-Quaile School of Music in the early childhood department. Laughing, singing and dancing are among her most favorite things!
TIFFANY MANGULABNAN was born and raised in Manila, Philippines. She studied classical ballet at the Philippine Ballet Theatre Conservatoire as well as classical and modern ballet at Ballet Philippines' CCP Dance School and at the LINES Ballet School in San Francisco. She danced professionally with the Philippine Ballet Theatre for several years, becoming a principal dancer in 2010 and performing the lead roles in ballets such as 'Swan Lake' and 'Paquita', and featured roles in 'The Nutcracker', 'Carmina Burana', and several other neoclassical and contemporary ballets. She moved to New York City in 2012 and has since been dancing with BalletNext, where she has performed in ballets created for the company by international and local choreographers like Mauro Bigonzetti, Peter Quanz, Brian Reeder, Kasia Kozielska, Tobin Eason, Alison Cook Beatty, and artistic director Michele Wiles. She has also performed with Stuart Loungway's Terra Firma Dance Theatre. She works as a part-time bartender in the city and loves jazz, Beat literature, and the blues.
NANCY PIERRE was born and raised to two Haitian Parents in Park Slope Brooklyn. At 20 she left home to pursue a career in the arts. Nancy spent most of her time working with the National Black Theatre in Harlem and graced the stages of many other theatres. In 1997 Nancy started working as a Cabaret singer at New York’s Popular Motown Café as a Diana Ross impersonator. One year later Nancy met the Man of her dreams Eric Pierre who is also an actor and a director and they married one year later. After starting a family both Eric and Nancy decided to further their education, Eric as a teacher and Nancy a Social worker. After almost losing their fourth child during birth and Nancy being in a coma for 11 days, this took Nancy and her family in another life direction. Still having a passion for the arts Eric and Nancy felt called to start a church in Park Slope to Bridge the Gap between the Arts and Faith. Currently Eric and Nancy are the Pastors of Market Place Church Park Slope in Brooklyn NY, a place where artists can build their faith and also enhance their artistic gifts.
